The Rio Water Planet is a water park located in Vargem Grande, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, capital of the homonymous state. It was created in 1998 by the current owner named Cleilton Menezes. It had a total area of ​​400000 m² and was located at the foot of the Pedra Branca massif. With more than 40 attractions, the park had diversified attractions such as water slides, wave pool, lazy river, rapids, in addition to a children’s complex for children aged 2 to 6 years. Inside the water park
With an eye on the public that prefers to spend longer periods in the city with hot waters, Grupo Ferrasa delivered, in July, the Hot Beach Suites, a development with 442 apartments with 53 to 69 square meters of private space.

Until then, other news are expected for the region, with the doubling of the Hot Beach, which should gain three new pools and a new attraction to avoid lines. “We want to become a reference in food, consumption and entertainment 24 hours a day”, says Leite.

The expectation is that the proximity of airports, such as São José do Rio Preto and Barretos, and the expectation of the inauguration of a third, in the municipality itself (scheduled for 2027), will help Olímpia to attract tourists from other regions.
