Chapada Diamantina National Park hides several of the most spectacular treasures in the entire country.
Well known for it’s beauty and great natural diversity, the Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina was created in 1985 inside an area of 152 thousand hectares, and is found in the centre of the state of Bahia.
Chapada Diamantina is one of the most popular tourist spots in Bahia, with much to offer within nature and amongst an abundance of flora and fauna. You can discover caves, gorges, canyons, waterfalls and rivers. The Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina is made up of a number of areas and towns and the most well known are Lençóis, Andaraí, Palmeiras, and Mucugé, as well as a number of small, pretty villages, full of natural beauty and tourist points in the Chapada Diamantina.

Cachoeira do Mosquito and Poço do Diablo
The Mosquito waterfall is one of those places that you hardly expect since you have never heard of before but when you arrive, it surprises you in a special way.
Caves of Lapa Doce and Morro do Pai Inacio
This excursion is one of the most complete since first you visit the Grutas de Lapa Doce, a cave of considerable size (almost 1 km) where you can see stalactites and stalagmites of calcareous.
Poço Encantado and Poço Azul
2 of the busiest places in Chapada Diamantina due to the striking color of the water and its transparency.
The Enchanted Well is a lake within a cave 60 meters deep where light enters and makes it look bright blue.
Lençois
Lençois is the starting point for all excursions and where you will find most accommodation and tourist agencies.
It is a charming town, with cobbled streets and a relaxed and safe atmosphere where you can breathe fresh air and escape from the big cities if you need it.
