How is the boat trip in Arraial do Cabo

Most vessels usually leave between 8:30 am and 9 am. In high season, some boats also have departures in the afternoon (but we don’t recommend it very much, as the tours tend to be more busy).

Saveiro Don Juan and Arraial Vip are the first to leave, which is a super positive point (as you will see later).

We always do the tour with Saveiro Don Juan, and they live up to their fame, we totally recommend it! We also did the tour with Arraial Vip and they are excellent.

See now how the boat tour in Arraial do Cabo, based on our experience with Saveiro Don Juan.

Meeting point
As this is the first boat to leave the pier, it is necessary to arrive at the meeting point very early: they ask everyone to meet at 7:30 am at the company office, which is less than 5 minutes from the pier.

After everyone has gathered, it’s time to walk to the pier to board.

Right there on the pier, you will pay a departure tax of R$8, which is not included in the tour price.

Punctually at 8am, the boat heads towards the first destination of the tour.

Farol beach
The first stop takes place at one of the most beautiful beaches in Arraial – and in Brazil. Praia do Farol is located on Ilha do Farol, which is an ecological reserve protected by the Navy.

Because of this, there is a limit on visits to the beach: only 250 people are allowed to disembark at a time.

When approaching the beach, while still on the boat, you will already notice that the water here is absurdly transparent, and the sand is very white.

The boat will dock a little away from the sand. In the case of Saveiro Don Juan, you can choose between arriving at the beach by boat or going swimming.
